Mixed Up But Unmatched

The D Word

D is for Doodle
it rhymes with noodle
with feudal poodle
and dipsey doodle
with boodle cockadoodle
that’s a lot
and I don’t give a doodley squat

Yankee Doodle Atheist

I’m a Yankee Doodle Dandy
A Yankee Doodle do or die
A real free thinker for my Uncle Sam
And I’m a telling you why
No Gods no supernatural creatures
Will ever get a vote from me
Yankee Doodle doesn’t pray
Or believe in hell or heaven
I am an atheistic guy

Yankee Doodle is a man after my own heart and I shall be learning his song. Thank you! :) :)

    • I don’t write any original tunes. But once in a while I make up new words to old songs.

Some not suitable to post…….but maybe I will get brave. lol

Didn’t I read in one response to me from you…..that you went to sing in a..club or something? I think I posted about the name of it.

I am trying to get my friends here in order. Sometimes it is hard not to get mixed up. :( If it doesn’t ring a bell….just disregard.

      Thanks for the comment.

      • I sing with three community choirs, all manner of songs from around the world and especially, in one group, Cornish songs – and I love every minute! :)

I know what you mean about keeping track of the sisterhood of bloggers! I sometimes go back to old posts to check things out! :)
